HONDURAS First Meeting of the Network of Masculinity and Gender Equity COLOMBIA
30 and October 31, 2010 the
Group of Casitas Biblical Manhood
participated with four of their representatives on the First Meeting
held in the city of Medellin.
There were representatives of 19 men experience different parts of our country.
They showed the various ways in which they work to express their new masculinidadades not hegemonic.
Amid a fraternal atmosphere, fresh and efisciente, they reflected on the importance of being united in a network of brothers, articles, to share methodologies and strategies for working with the community and the theoretical importance of creating content on the topic of masculinity in Colombia, and the creation of academic spaces in this regard.
In one of the areas we worked the bodily-emotional expression, unique and personal experience that means so much to men as from small censure them the ability to embrace and express feelings in a free manner. This experience was filled with confidence and an opportunity to give new meaning to physical contact between men attending the event.
For men of the Bible houses this issue becomes a challenge because, although they have worked to become better human beings men, they recognize that need to work to advance the free forms of expression of emotion among men and children, youth or adults.
