People are made of contradictions. There is only open a newspaper today and found a fairly clear: the "world's largest democracy" has run the most wanted terrorist. But no, I will not talk about that contradiction (at least today). I'll talk about one of my contradictions, and it has to do with the wedding that took place in London on Friday. The truth is that it has to do with this wedding in particular, but anyone on the involvement of a member of royalty (preferably European).
I am a Republican. I consider nonsense monarchy in the XXI century. However, I love to see their wedding dresses and criticize buy Hello! which housewife to get a closer (just bought the Hi on these occasions). I do not know why this happens, but it happens. Perhaps this is because, for some things, I have a nineteenth-point (that form of dress, manners ...), or those that amuses me to stay current (and apparently in good health) an institution as stale and so corseted by now, or because I love to see people leaning on fences and holding flags while people cheer for the mere fact of being born in the family who serves to represent them without having been chosen for this task.
worst thing is that I feel sympathy for some of those privileged the people cheering. For example, I like the Swedish Royal Family: I suffer from the misfortunes love of Princess Madeleine, I am delighted that the Princess Victoria, heir to the throne, has married the love of his life (according to her) and fantasize that the PrÃncipe Carlos Felipe me down the aisle, despite that the kingdom has to die a few people before (that's where my love). I also feel antipathy for others-the majority-as Queen Elizabeth II, although I admit that his way of clinging to the throne as to prevent Queen Camilla is a woman becomes evil of giving good atmosphere to any movie, or life same.
There is a good thing, and I'm not the only to "suffer" this contradiction. And it's good not to be alone ... so I can comment on pints of Beatrice and Eugenie of York:
